Claire and I stayed outside most of the day. It was so beautiful. She plays in the yard and brings me things. We went to lunch with my friend Barbara. Well, I think she is my friend, but I'm never quite sure. Today she was very happy said Dana and Carolyn should go away for a whole day and she and I will watch Finn and Claire. I would worry at the last second she would not help.
Than st 3pm we went to Finn's school to pick him up. she loves it there, all the little girls in his class run over to her, try to pick her up , give her things etc. Everybody in the school know her.
When I got home I was tired.

Can't remember who Barbara is or how you know her (I sure remember Norma), so please tell. Why do you think she wouldn't help at the last second?
I bet the kids are crazy about Claire. That age seems to be when girls' maternal instincts kick in.
I met Barbara when I took care of her gentleman friend. He died and she wrote this wonderful letter about me to Hospice. We became friends. She is retired from the Ca Justice Dept.
Somehow since I got back from NJ the last time she has been acting weird. ie: calling to see if I want to go to lunch and than calling me at the last min. to say she can't make it. When I am with her she is great. I even asked her if I had offended her in any way but she said no. Oh well. Life.
