I forgot to Blog yesterday so here it is---
I went to Carpenderia yesterday morning to pick up a copy of the Filing of my law suite. A friend picked it up fo rme. Than we went to IHOP for breakfast.
I got home about 1:30 , did some things around the house. At 5PM Judy Cook picked meup. She is the daughter of a Hospice Pt. I had in 2004. Her husband died two months after her mom so she pretty much alone. She had two sons but they do not live in the area. Every few months she calls me to go to dinner. This time, however she wanted me to meet a friend of hers. A lady with MS. She is in a wheelchair and says she needs more help. The problem is she is not a very nice person. She complained about everything especially the people who are helping her. She is not in touch with her ex husband, tree sons, or any of her brothers and sisters. She told me to ,"get your hands away for your mouth. i can't hear you". The worse part was when I was leaving she asked if I would like to exchange phone numbers! I was too chicken to say no. Thank God for called ID.

Betty,
Some MS patients are very 'difficult' to deal with. Some have such mild symptoms you can't even tell they have it. The ones with brain changes are the worst. Unfortunately Rich's wife was like that and it was very hard on the entire family. I think these patients need to be told directly "no one will want to come into your room/home if you don't treat them better". It might not make any difference tho...if they have brain involvement and many do. Plus the psychological overlay is very strong and they often resent like hell that you are well and they are not...as with other chronic illnesses.
I wonder what Judy wanted you to do.....yes, thank God you have caller ID.
