Today, Carolyn,the kids and I went down to the ocean to see the carrier USS Ronald Reagan. It is here for a few days for three days. There were sailors and masses of people down there to see it.
We stayed there a few hours walking the boardwalk (it is concrete but they call it the boardwalk),etc. I took some pictures that I will try to get in Flicker tonight.

As we talked about on the phone, the Ronald Reagan Library is interesting, too. Ellen and I were there a few years ago and even I, flaming liberal though I am, enjoyed it. Even the Nixon Library in (I think) Loma Linda(?) was worth seeing.
But my favorite, wouldn't you know, is the Kennedy one in Boston--would like to go there again. Hmm...maybe I just like presidential libraries.
