Today I spent the whole day helping my friend, Norma. She is really losing it and was so upset over her,"appointments" . Doctors, Labs, Pt and on and on. Half of them are not necessary. Ie going to get blood work done at two labs for the same thing. "Well two different doctors ordered them". Duh.
Than I went to pick up Finn and one of his little schoolmates mom was in a terrible accident. She is on a ventilator in ICU. Apparently her car went over a cliff. Her brother is caring for her two kids. She wrote the movies, Glitter and Barbershop. Her car went over a cliff.

My 50 year reunion was so much fun. There were 56 in the class. 6 have died and 29 showed up. We had lots of old pictures to share and of course the crazy times when we were young and stupid.
Pat, Bobbi and Carol Murphy say hello and Bobbie told the story about how they met you. We had a hospitality room until 11Pm and took full advantage. It was great. I don't remember any Dr. France but he was not there.

Your friend Norma sounds other friends of yours--and some I have, too. Dependent people always find somebody to take care of them, no matter how old they are.
Terrible about the woman who went over a cliff--something I was always nervous about on the left coast. When Ellen and I go to Ojai, I keep my eyes closes during the high parts.
Reunions are really fun sometimes, although I don't think you missed much at our HSHS fiftieth.

What a tragedy for that woman and her family.

I wonder if Medicare will pay for the exact same tests ordered by two different docs done on the same day.....and we wonder why health care is so costly. My oncologist used to routinely order a CBC with every visit. Once I told the nurse I just had had one a week earlier for a pre op procedure. "oh well, we have to do one on all of his patients with our lab here".
I wonder how Norma managed while you were gone for 2 months.

I don't remember HOW I met Bobbi and Carol...must have been at Willow Grove.
